    Community Cabinet Meeting
    Thursday 18 February, Ballarat High School

    The Prime Minister, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, advises there will be a Community Cabinet meeting at Ballarat High School, Sturt Street West, Ballarat, Victoria on Thursday 18 February 2010.
    All interested members of the public are welcome to attend the Community Cabinet meeting, and request a one-on-one meeting with a minister, but must register in advance.
    Community Cabinet meeting program
    4.30pm - 5.45pm Arrival and confirmation of registration (Light refreshments will be served).
    6.00pm - 7.00pm Public forum (The Prime Minister will address the forum and this will be followed by a question and answer session from the audience).
    7.15pm - 8.15pm One-on-one meetings
    (Ministers will be available for a limited number of pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with individuals or groups. Each meeting will be limited to 10 minutes).
    Registration: To attend the Community Cabinet you must register in advance. Registrations open at 9am (AEDST) on Wednesday 27 January 2010 and close 5.00pm (AEDST) Tuesday 2 February 2010 unless maximum capacity reached prior.

    Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 February (TBC)
    Organising Community Change Workshop
    Organised by Surf Coast Energy Group and Geelong Sustainability Group. Join other passionate and committed community members in a workshop that uses the “Camp Obama” volunteer training programme. Covers team-building, leadership development, getting great media coverage and organizing a progressive movement that wins on issues like Climate Change, and other environmental and social justice issues. Anyone involved in taking action in their local communities is invited to take part.     2010 Fellowship Program - applications close Sunday 28 February
    The Fellowship Program is a seven-month program consisting of weekly workshops, group project activities, a mentorship program and residential retreats. The emerging leaders are pushed beyond their respective comfort zones, resulting in a dramatic recalibration of their confidence, competence and expectations. Our vision for the Fellowship Program curriculum is to change lives by providing fellows with the vision, tools, networks and inspiration to change the world.
