One $ 1 Watt 'Op Shop' Installation

1 1 Watt unitingAnother successful project was officially launched in the Social Solar Program.

State government, Ballarat Renewable Energy and Zero Emissions and Eureka Orienteers funded the installation of 10kW of solar PV panels on the roof of the op shop on Howitt Street.

The project will produce 40kWh per year, resulting in operational savings of around $3200 that will be used for Uniting Ballarat's programs Lifeline Ballarat, BreezeWay Meals and Meals for Change.

The "Energy" is the community of activities, skills and knowledge share!

Call for Volunteers to investigate and run Ballarat LETS

This is a whole of community activity between, at least, the members of BREAZE, Ballarat Permaculture Guild, Ballarat U3A.

We are looking to set up a management committee and a team of committed volunteers to run this. Email  to get on board.

Get your team together for this exciting activity.  aMAZEing Ballarat is part treasure-hunt, part physical race, part puzzle and guaranteed to be full time fun.  Groups of 2,3,4 will need to use each team member's strength to solve the clues and complete the tasks within the time frame.

Proceeds from this event go to supporting the One $ for One Watt program.    See where last years money was spent.
