The Smart Living Kiosk is in the Ballarat Library.
For guidance about living comfortably, economically and sustainably - visit the Smart Living kiosk at the Ballarat Central Library.
Historically, Ballarat's Smart Living Centre in Lydiard Street was funded by the Victorian Government's Sustainability Fund for three years. During those years it provided information to people wanting answers to a wide range of sustainable living questions. After the funding expired, BREAZE offered to continue to run the Smart Living Centre with volunteers, largely using our own funds and support from the City of Ballarat but we couldn’t sustain this financially. The Lydiard Street location closed on November 1st, 2014.
After negotiations with the City of Ballarat and the Library, the Centre was opened in the north western area of the Ballarat Central Library on June 5th 2015 – World Environment Day.
