How can we Assist?

BREAZE runs a regular session to assist Ballarat people to navigate the world of electrification, home comfort, adaptation to climate change and much of what we do with the CEEP Program.The difference is that we go beyond Electrifying Everything. We do this for our Members and Community and it is funded by BREAZE itself.

You get to talk with our BREAZE Energy Champions one on one in a short session. Drop-in only at this stage.

Our community gets the benefit. BREAZE Assist will be offered while there is a demand for the service.

Who are the Energy Champions?

Our Energy Champions are people just like you. They have gone through the process and completed (or are still completing) the move away from gas, replacing their cooktops, existing water or space heating with heat pumps for hot water and heating/cooling, improving the comfort and efficiency of their home (sometimes, their workplace).

They have no ties with any supplier and offer independent advice of a general nature. All decisions are yours to make, on your own time. We offer help to navigate Government information and sign up tasks for available rebates. There is never a need to make large decision on the spot as the marketing snail mail, Facebook adds or telemarketers push you to do!

BREAZE Assist

This is a drop-in service that is held at Barkly Square in Ballarat. From October 2025, you can talk to an Energy Champion in a Personal Consult. BREAZE Assist can help with some of the simpler things you might want help with like:

  • Is that unsolicited post, email or social media offer a good one? We can help you with that

  • Discuss your plans to electrify? We do that too

  • Want to work out what appliances work for you? Yes, that too

  • If your plans are pretty big, we can book you in for a longer session, about 30 minutes, on a Champions’ Day.

  • East Ballarat Neighbourhood House Champions Day

    Held on Thursday 20th November 2025 from at the East Ballarat Neighbourhood House, at Barkly Square, 25 Barkly Street, Ballarat East.

    We had the pleasure of helping members of the community through FREE 30 minute personal consultations with our Energy Champions. We received wonderful feedback and look forward to our next day.   • Champions sit down with you to help clarify what you need and then help you to see what will work for you and save money. Our Champions help you find the discounts, subsidies and rebates to help you out a bit more.
